It's both! When the top is closed (closes by itself, no pinched little fingers), the piano turns itself off and converts to a sweet little desk. What? Turns itself off? Yes!

Such a compact size makes this little piano perfect for the family room or even a bedroom. I'm thinking it would work quite nicely in a motor home, too!
